Doug Flutie’s first start with the Buffalo Bills. The Bills win in a last minute comeback to beat the undefeated Jacksonville Jaguars 17-16.

The Flutie era was one of the Bills’ best. He made the 90s the decade of the Bills. Shit, he saved the team for crying out loud! I salute you!

love that old cbs music.

lol@ 08:35 the announcer

somebody probably has a box of flutie flakes somewhere

Canada’s pride :)

hopefully the Bills win a Super Bowl in my life-time

I listened to this game on the radio while driving. Honked the daylights out of the car when Flutie ran it in. Great times.

FLUTIE FLAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if Flutie’s still up for playing because I bet he’d still be better at his age now than what we got.

That was inspiring. I remember watching it the first time.

this is when we actually had a team to be proud of in buffalo, the bills are a bunch of fuckin loosers now and it sucks

Oh that wasn’t a joke…I remember being in the Marines…and they were hyping that game because many thought the only team that could beat the Broncos were the Jags. And ummm…that wasn’t the case in ’98. Weird year…I mean the two dominant teams in football were the BRONCOS and VIKINGS…who ended up losing to the FALCONS. Denver was a wire-to-wire pick for the Super Bowl. Still bizarre

Bills had fun to watch 90s teams. In the early 90s they had 4 super bowl appearances and solid teams throughout. In the late 90s they had Doug Flutie who was well worth the price of admission and took them to the playoffs twice. It was so much fun in the 90s that us Bills fans are paying for it dearly nowadays with awful teams.

Thanks for this, my two favorite QB’s in this game.

FLUTIE FLAKES!

Two of the great mobile QB’s of the 90′s in this game.

FUCK ROB JOHNSON!!!

8:20- greatest head coach Bills have ever seen

I was 8 years old when I saw this game. As a kid growing up in Buffalo I always liked the Bills, but this game made a me a fan, and I still am to this day, despite how painful it is most of the time.

Ralph Wilson stuck his nose in and told him too. That’s my opinion.

I miss the days when being a Buffalo Bills fan was fun.

Jauron was a horrible head coach, he had no idea how to motivate no idea how to call plays and he was the worst Drafting coach ever, and to be honest I’m not 100% sure that Chan Gailey is a better head coach

I’m with you about this one Greg is waay better then his brother who sounds like he is reading a telephone book as the samething for Joe Buck ,at least Greg Gumbel has some excitment in his voice while calling a game.

Dick Jauron had one great season as a head football coach, and that was in 2001 when coaching the Chicago Bears. That season, he led them to a 13-3 record. Jauron was the Bears coach when they drafted All-Pro linebacker Brian Urlacher.

It’s too bad Jauron failed as the Bills’ head coach. His Bills coaching highlight was leading them to a 5-1 start last season.

Greg Gumbel’s a great play by announcer. I don’t know why CBS demoted him to their #2 play by guy and replaced him with Jim Nantz as their #1 play by play announcer. Nantz is good at calling golf and college basketball, but is only medicore at doing football, in my opinion.

Gumbel is a natural as a football play by play announcer.

As a Bills fan, I miss the endzone period.
